Role Overview
Lead the instructional design lifecycle—from needs analysis and storyboarding to final evaluation—using ADDIE and SAM models.
Build rich, engaging CBT/WBT courses utilizing authoring tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora.
Ensure all e-learning courses are Section 508 compliant and adhere strictly to SCORM, xAPI, and LMS deployment standards.
Work hand-in-hand with federal stakeholders, instructors, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex tactical aviation or maritime safety concepts into clear, educational designs.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in instructional design, specifically focused on computer-based training (CBT) and web-based modules.
Professional certification in Instructional Design, Education, or Training and Development.
Mastery of Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar rapid-authoring systems.
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal background suitability check.
