Design and partner with engineering to deliver high-performance tables, dynamic views, and data pipelines, ensuring optimal query performance and scalability for Fulfillment Data Consumers.
Develop sophisticated, "at-a-glance" visualizations in Looker that translate trends and efficiencies into actionable insights.
Leverage Snowflake Cortex to deploy LLM-powered functions or predictive forecasting directly within our data platform.
Analyze complex data to optimize fulfillment metrics, propose changes to our planning strategies, or help our fulfillment centers run more optimally.
Provide leadership oversight to ensure that—across all the programs we're working on throughout VCS and with our cross-functional stakeholders—we prioritize our work and resources effectively, measure impact, and deliver results.
Act as a consultant to leaders across Product Management, Sales, Finance, Systems Integrations, and others, transforming vague business questions into rigorous analytical frameworks and developing mutually beneficial working relationships.
Requirements
7–12 years of progressive experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a background in technical project/program management or product management.
3+ years of experience building and managing a team.
Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
Experience with JIRA and Advanced Dashboarding platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma).
Hands-on experience (or strong theoretical knowledge) with Snowflake Cortex functions (e.g., COMPLETE, EXTRACT_ANSWER, SUMMARIZE) or similar SQL-based AI tools.
Ability to work alongside senior leadership to set the tooling and system vision, improving operational efficiency and the overall quality of operations.
Experience collaborating with product organizations, finance, and other business functions to design, implement, or integrate technical solutions.
Experience communicating and translating non-technical to technical (and vice versa) requirements and discussions, as well as coordinating and running multiple organizational projects.
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, often with competing priorities, both as an IC and for your team.
A keen eye for continuous optimization.
The ability to analyze data to identify the largest strategic opportunities for the organization and use data-driven insights to provide high-impact recommendations.
