Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams
Oversees the budget(s) for one or more products by working closely with finance partners on both personnel and non-personnel expenses
Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
Ensures product availability by partnering closely with demand and capacity teammates
Develops business cases for new products and additional features for existing products
Partners with the product owners and the teams to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and subject-matter expertise and understanding of the business and industry trends
The position will be for a Product Manager for SQL Server, MongoDB, TigerGraph, SingleStore, and Cassandra database on-premises and in external cloud
This position will develop product roadmaps, collect customer feedback for platform enhancements, provide database engineering with quarterly requirements, and create epics in Jira for operational sign off and release.
Requirements
5 years of job related experience required
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting database solutions using SQL Server and 1 Linux based database management system
Strong expertise in relational, NoSQL, graph, and distributed database technologies
Demonstrated ability to optimize database performance, ensure data integrity, and support high-volume, scalable applications across multiple database platforms
Experience with database modeling, administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in complex enterprise environments
Proficiency in developing and maintaining data solutions that leverage SQL Server and 1 Linux based database management system
Ability to receive requirements from CIO and Infrastructure teams and translate those into tangible requirements for Database Engineering
