Role Overview

• Supporting educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments
• Offering individualised interventions and engagement based on clinical assessment
• Assessing young people’s mental health and recommending appropriate interventions in a personalised care plan
• Delivering effective counselling and providing feedback on progress

Requirements

• As a qualified professional (or accredited Counsellor), eligible for membership of BACP or similar professional body
• Additional mental health or therapeutic intervention qualifications desirable
• Well versed in child development and connecting with young people
• Highly organised and ready to take the initiative
• Honesty and empathy is a must
