Perform all aspects of service operations, maintenance, and support for Battery Energy Storage Systems
Assist the RM with site reports and onsite LOTO
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on various BESS equipment and related assets
Aid in inspection, testing, and repair of utility-scale power and controls equipment
Support the RM in managing multiple 3rd party service vendors in the safe execution of O&M services across contracted BESS projects
Meet timelines and schedules, scopes of work, quality assurances and inspections, successful troubleshooting and repairs

HS Degree and 4 plus years’ experience working in the electrical or renewable energy industries within generation / operations / technical teams (solar/wind/BESS/gas/hydro/distribution)
Demonstrated problem-solving skills related to electrical troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings
Ability to follow company QC and testing procedures
High level of attention to detail and focus on proper documentation
Bidirectional inverters, 1500VDC and 630 VAC systems, extra for substations
Using electrical testing equipment, including meggers and multi-meters
Managed Ethernet Switches, Media Converters (Fiber & Serial)
HVAC & Chiller systems operations & maintenance
Using Torque tools and Thermal Imaging tools to maintain/verify proper electrical connections
Ability to adapt and work in extreme hot and cold environments
Must have a current driver’s license with a good DMV record
Either currently hold, or able to immediately obtain certifications for OSHA 10, NFPA 70E, and CPR
