Acute Patient Access Services Representative

Role Overview

• Greet patients and ensure patient safety
• Verify insurance and process registration
• Collect patient financial liability and assist with financial counseling
• Ensure all documentation is compliant and accurate
• Collaborate with clinical teams for optimized patient flow
• Use multi-system technology for intake and record-keeping

Requirements

• high school diploma/GED required
• customer service skills or knowledge of patient financial services
• experience with insurance industry processes normally acquired over one or more years of work experience
• strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• strong knowledge in the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, database software, and typing ability required
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card needed for specific clinical settings
