About this role

Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, crafts, and activities that align with Christian values.
Encourage positive behavior through patience, consistency, and love.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities, progress, and concerns.
Assist children with personal care routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest periods.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Follow all Concord Academy policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety standards.
Model Christian character and encourage spiritual growth through prayer, Bible stories, and worship activities.

High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or CDA preferred).
Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or church setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
A heart for children and a commitment to Christian education.
