About this role
Role Overview
- Participating in business analysis workshops to gather, understand, and clarify reporting and analytics requirements
- Designing and developing reports and dashboards to meet both informational and operational needs, following best practices in Power BI and Qlik
- Providing support for BI applications in production, ensuring performance, reliability, and user satisfaction
- Documenting Business Intelligence and information management solutions, with a focus on Power BI or Qlik architectures, models, and dashboards
- Leading BI migration initiatives, such as Qlik to Power BI, On-premise to cloud BI environments
- Executing work in alignment with established Business Intelligence standards, contributing to the continuous improvement of BI practices
- Running demos, client presentations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) to showcase BI solutions and analytics capabilities
- Collaborating with data engineers and platform teams to align dashboards with underlying data models and pipelines
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Visualization Consultant, BI Developer, or similar role
- French is a huge plus, but not mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Qlik
- Proven experience delivering demos, client presentations, and Proofs of Concept (POCs)
- Working knowledge of data concepts, including data modeling for analytics and ETL / ELT fundamentals and how BI tools consume backend data
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python
- Experience collaborating with or supporting backend data platforms (e.g. data warehouses, lakehouses, cloud data services)
- Familiarity with modern data environments feeding BI tools (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Azure data services, Fabric)
- Good interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills
- Experience with Qlik
- Experience supporting on-premise to cloud migrations is a plus
