As a Permitting Manager at Voltfang, you are responsible for building law matters for our BESS projects, from permitting strategy through to granted permits.
You manage external planning firms and expert consultants, coordinate with municipal and state authorities — turning sites into built reality.
You own all permitting processes for our BESS projects from strategy to issued permit — independently, end-to-end.
You are proficient in BauGB (including § 35), BauNVO and BImSchG and submit building application documents yourself as an authorized design submitter (bauvorlageberechtigter Entwurfsverfasser).
You coordinate all relevant specialist reports (TA Lärm [noise], fire protection, species protection under § 44 BNatSchG, LBP, soil) and manage interfaces with specialist authorities at municipal and state levels.
You assess sites from a permitting perspective, identify risks early and support development plan (B‑Plan), land-use plan (FNP) and immission-control (emissions) procedures where required.
You build internal permitting know-how, actively share it within the team and work closely with land securing, lead generation and grid connection colleagues.
Minimum 5 years' experience in building law for energy or infrastructure projects
Authorized design submitter (bauvorlageberechtigt) — you independently prepare and submit building application documents
Independent execution and successful completion of BImSchG and/or building permit procedures
Solid expertise in BauGB (including § 35), BauNVO, BImSchG, nature conservation law (BNatSchG) and in coordinating specialist reports (noise, fire protection, species protection)
Hands-on mentality: you own the content, manage and critically question external firms — you are an owner, not a delegator
Business-fluent German and good command of English
