Define and execute the global Quality Applications strategy, ensuring digital solutions support business objectives, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence
Act as the strategic IT Business Partner for Global Quality and Manufacturing, translating business needs into scalable digital solutions
Lead demand management, business process management, and application lifecycle management for the global Quality application landscape
Drive global implementation and continuous improvement of Quality applications while ensuring compliance with GxP, IT security, architecture, and lifecycle standards
Manage strategic application projects from planning through execution, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, external vendors, and implementation partners
Lead and develop a high-performing global team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Ensure service excellence through application governance, SLA management, vendor performance management, and operational support
Own CAPEX and OPEX planning, monitor budgets, optimize costs, and ensure measurable business value and return on investment
Promote harmonized global processes and application standards with a strong focus on user experience, business value, simplicity, and scalable digital transformation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a related discipline
More than 10 years of experience in IT business applications, consulting, or digital transformation, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Proven experience managing enterprise Quality applications in regulated GxP environments
Strong understanding of Quality business processes, application lifecycle management, and digital transformation initiatives
Experience leading global implementation projects using Agile, PMI, or similar project management methodologies
Demonstrated experience managing external software vendors, IT service providers, and strategic partners
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior business leaders
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic and customer-oriented mindset
Proven experience with enterprise Quality Management solutions in regulated GxP environments, such as Veeva, Trackwise, Generis, Ennov, or comparable industry-leading platforms
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
