Cost Accountant

Role Overview

• Managing and analyzing product costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing financial reporting.
• Ensuring accurate standard costing, inventory valuation, and cost controls.
• Analyzing manufacturing variances, supporting monthly close activities, and maintaining inventory accounting processes.
• Partnering with operations, supply chain, quality, and finance teams to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing operations.
• Expertise in cost analysis, inventory valuation, and variance reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong background in GAAP accounting and internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge required.
• Experience supporting IPO readiness, SOX compliance, or public company reporting highly preferred.
