Senior Sales Manager

Role Overview

• Acquisition of strategically relevant B2B key accounts in the DACH region
• Advising clients and developing tailored, needs-based sales solutions
• Delivering presentations and conducting negotiations with decision-makers and management up to successful closing
• Preparing proposals and conducting contract and pricing negotiations
• Providing functional/operational and disciplinary leadership and further developing a sales team
• Coaching, training and supporting team members, including onboarding new colleagues
• Defining, managing and monitoring sales targets and KPIs, including deriving actions to achieve goals
• Active pipeline and forecast management in the CRM system
• Representing the company at trade shows, events and conferences and expanding the network
• Analyzing market and competitor developments to identify new growth opportunities

Requirements

• Several years of B2B sales experience with multinational companies, ideally in the business travel industry
• Some experience in functional and/or disciplinary leadership of a sales team
• Strong sales focus, customer orientation and closing skills
• Experience managing sales metrics and working with CRM systems
• Strong communicator with negotiation skills at decision-maker and management level
• Structured, self-driven and results-oriented working style
• Excellent team player with enthusiasm for developing and motivating employees
• Willingness to travel within the DACH region
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
