About this role
Role Overview
- You assess our products for marketability/compliance in the EU and the USA
- You review product descriptions and marketing copy for compliance with food laws and regulations
- You collaborate during product conception, development and launch preparation with Product Management, R&D, Business Development, Marketing and Customer Support on food regulatory matters
- You monitor changes in food legislation and derive and implement appropriate measures for the affected departments
- You handle official regulatory findings and coordinate responses to authorities
- You are responsible for product notifications
Requirements
- Degree in food chemistry, food technology, pharmacy or a related field
- 2–3 years of professional experience in Regulatory Affairs, preferably in the food industry or a related sector (e.g., pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements)
- Solid knowledge of relevant national and international laws, directives and regulations (EU & USA) relating to foods and dietary supplements
- Strong skills in evaluating product specifications and labeling, plus basic knowledge of food ingredients
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Independent and structured working style with strong self-organization
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Very good MS Office skills
