About this role
Role Overview
Actively acquire new customers and strategically develop and manage existing accounts in the area of decentralized district solutions.
Build and maintain a strong network within the energy and real estate sectors and communicate professionally with internal and external partners.
Prepare and present preliminary concepts for supplying neighborhoods and properties with heat, cooling and electricity — with a focus on sustainable and fossil-free energy solutions.
Manage the entire sales process from the initial idea through proposal preparation to contract signing in close collaboration with interdisciplinary project teams.
Monitor market, competitor and technology trends and identify new business opportunities and projects.
Analyze customer requirements and tender specifications, assess opportunities, and coordinate proposal preparation internally and externally while considering technical, organizational, economic and timing constraints.
Requirements
Degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent qualification.
Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in energy supply contracting, sales, or in the planning and design of energy projects.
Technical understanding of energy supply solutions and experience with renewable energies for heat, cooling and power generation.
Experience in managing complex projects and interdisciplinary teams.
Confident user of common IT applications.
Strong communication skills, negotiation ability, and entrepreneurial and strategic thinking.
Business‑fluent German and good English skills.
