About this role
Role Overview
Overall responsibility for the end-to-end configuration of the CRM system and the customer lifecycle for D2C – building and continuously developing the CRM foundation, including customer journeys, lifecycle logic and interaction strategy
Increase D2C revenue – plan and execute CRM campaigns that directly impact revenue, repeat purchases and customer lifetime value
Design and implement automated customer journeys – create and optimize key flows such as welcome, post-purchase and reactivation
Establish segmentation and personalization logic – develop data-driven customer segments and personalization approaches to improve relevance and conversion rates
Turn data into actionable CRM insights – monitor performance, identify opportunities and continuously optimize
Work closely with Marketing on content execution – provide CRM-driven input to the content plan and collaborate to run campaigns efficiently
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
3–5 years of experience in CRM/email marketing in a D2C or e-commerce environment
Proven ability to grow revenue, customer retention and customer lifetime value through CRM
Practical experience with tools such as Klaviyo and Mailchimp
Experience building and/or scaling CRM and lifecycle setups
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven, performance-oriented mindset and familiarity with GA4, GTM, Power BI and Excel
Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for reporting, content creation or campaign design
Structured, entrepreneurial thinking and strong ownership – able to run CRM activities independently
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with marketing teams
Affinity for premium, tech-oriented products and tech-savvy customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
