Collaborate with BI Consultants, end users, and IT teams to convert data into critical information for sound business decisions
Improve risk management and operational efficiency in Underwriting and Operations vertical
Provide leadership with comprehensive information gathering, structured documentation, and the effective presentation of findings to management at all levels
Work independently on highly complex, cross-functional, analytical projects, proactively addressing business needs
Provide analytical subject matter expertise and recommendations to the Underwriting & Operations organization
Analyze functional business processes and requirements, contributing to the development of arguments supporting process changes and IT projects
Develop standard methodologies for report deployments, ensuring detailed metrics are documented and tracked
Explore data to discover patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies, and trends

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, Finance, etc.)
3+ years of experience in Business Analysis / Business Intelligence Analysis or related technical fields
REQUIRED experience within insurance and/or healthcare organizations, specifically in Operations and/or Underwriting analytics
Proficiency with databases, SQL, and business intelligence tools (Business Objects, Alteryx, Informatica, Databricks, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of Operations & Underwriting business functions, processes, and transactions
High level of experience with technology system processes, reporting functions, and methodologies
High proficiency with visual analytics and BI tools (Tableau, QuickSight, MS Power BI, etc.)
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Python knowledge and skill, preferred.
