About this role

Work on strategic projects focused on performance, sustainment, monitoring, security, backup, environment recovery, and provide technical support to infrastructure and application teams.
Ensure the availability, integrity, and efficiency of the database environments that support critical business operations.

Proven experience administering and supporting databases in Protheus environments: Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server
Administration of Production, Staging (Homologation) and Development environments
Monitoring of performance, availability and resource usage
Execution and validation of backup and recovery routines
Analysis and optimization of queries, indexes and critical processes
Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of Protheus environments (DBAccess and AppServer)
Database tuning and performance troubleshooting
Version migrations, environment upgrades and database migrations
Monitoring of jobs, locks, deadlocks and database growth
Implementation of security policies, access control and auditing
Technical support for development, infrastructure and functional consulting teams
Proactive actions to ensure stability, availability and operational continuity of environments.
