About this role
Role Overview
Ensure full planning and coordination of the Canadian leadership team's retreats, including agenda design, preparation of pre-read materials, and documentation of outcomes.
Develop and maintain the annual retreat calendar, ensuring each retreat supports the division's strategic priorities.
Attend all leadership team meetings to ensure continuity, context, and follow-up on initiatives.
Work with the President and leadership team members to design sessions that promote decision-making and strategic alignment rather than mere status updates.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of the annual conference, from design through delivery.
Oversee the vendor responsible for event management, coordinate contributions from various leadership team members, and ensure content production deadlines are met.
Partner with the President to translate company strategy into tangible, mobilizing content for the organization.
Develop and maintain the conference playbook, including timelines, stakeholders, content owners, chosen formats, and logistical details.
Provide delivery support for the strategic customer engagement program by ensuring a regular cadence, effective preparation, and structured follow-up.
Coordinate stakeholders, prepare meetings, and track outcomes for each roundtable cycle.
Collaborate with regional leaders and the Canadian leadership team to ensure each meeting is well-organized and directly tied to the division's strategic priorities.
Requirements
More than 5 years of progressive experience in project delivery or program management support, with a demonstrated increase in responsibility, scope, and complexity.
Experience in a SaaS or technology-focused company, with a solid understanding of software development cycles and product-oriented organizations.
Proven experience creating and implementing delivery programs or structures from scratch, not just managing existing frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and establish credibility with senior leaders and C-suite members.
Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into operational priorities and independently connect work across functions.
High degree of autonomy and sound judgment in ambiguous environments, with the ability to turn high-level direction into structured execution plans without close supervision.
Experience managing competing priorities across multiple executives, including the ability to sequence work and make trade-off decisions.
Experience planning and delivering leadership forums, strategic retreats, or senior executive events with end-to-end delivery responsibility beyond mere logistics.
Strong ownership mentality, taking full responsibility for outcomes and proactively taking initiative without being directed.
University degree (Bachelor's) or equivalent professional experience.
