Thermo Fisher Scientific is a global leader in serving science, and they are seeking an Associate IRT Project Manager to lead IRT projects of simple complexity during the maintenance phase. The role involves managing and supporting IRT solutions, coordinating small projects, and ensuring quality and accuracy in clinical trial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Function as a member of the study-specific project team for simple systems, including understanding the systems, providing support related training of the systems and is responsible for the completion of all support related project deliverables
- Assist functional area leads and senior peers in identifying and evaluating fundamental issues on projects
- Gather information regarding potential or actual risks/issues and provide detailed information to management to ensure risks/issues are surfaced and mitigated
- For simple systems, perform study specific informal testing, create and review study specific system support guidelines for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare, coordinate and deliver meeting materials and communications per timeline milestones. Attend meetings and communications with sponsors, vendors and cross-functional team members
- Serve as a support escalation contact for simple systems for study-specific questions/issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Solid oral presentation and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email software, various analytics and visualization software; and proficiency with primary software used by the company
- Basic understanding of relational database concepts and basic familiarity with data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL or MS Access)
- Capable of adapting to changing priorities and working as a member of a multi-disciplinary, global cross-functional team
- Effective ability to query, compile, enter, track and maintain data in systems supporting department programs and processes
- Capable of supporting small-scale collaborative meetings and presentations
