Inside Sales Representative

Role Overview

• Responsible for sales development with existing and new accounts via telephone or other non-direct solicitation methods
• Provides sales support to existing customers primarily with intent to expand sales
• Must maintain information in company database to support efforts and contribution
• Supports Customer Service, Sales and Marketing staff
• Provides in-house sales support to major existing accounts, prospective customers and customers requiring global support
• Increase sales with existing and prospect customers primarily through telephone contact
• Promote existing and new products to selected markets determined by Sales Manager and Marketing staff
• Manages all new customer inquiries; investigation, account set-up, sampling and follow-up
• Assists in developing product promotion strategies to obtain business in existing or new markets
• Attend Trade Shows and other marketing events

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 to 5 years of related experience in Customer Service and/or training
• Must be proficient with Microsoft operations
• Minimal travel requirements (less than 5%)
