Oversee field placement cohorts and courses
Demonstrate a student-centered approach in facilitating students’ needs
Plan and coordinate the field preparation of incoming and current students
Support students throughout the field placement process
Act as the direct contact person from the Faculty of Social Work for assigned students
Educate and prepare students regarding expectations, goals, assessment, and protocols
Coordinate site visits with agencies and students
Review and approve student performance evaluation documents
Research, evaluate, and recruit MSW field placements
Collaborate with the field team for strategic partnerships with agencies
Lead the field preparation seminar course
Monitor placements to meet expectations and requirements

MSW required
Minimum three years of related social work experience
Minimum two years of administrative/coordination experience
Experience with post-secondary field programs an asset
Practical knowledge of social work programs and practice in various social service systems
Superior leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with BIPOC clients/students and individuals from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences
Strong ability to utilize and learn technology for ongoing field development
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, email, webinars, databases, online portals, web-based tools, etc.
Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a car
