Own the payment platform that powers every transaction across our marketplace, and drive regulatory compliance across all our markets.
Drive the reliability of payment flows (checkout, refunds, fraud), but also accounting flows (KYB, payouts, billing, reporting).
Report to the Head of Product and be the interface for money and compliance topics.
Own the roadmap for the payment platform and for compliance across Europe, US, and LATAM.
Speak with organizers and fans regularly to understand where money actually hurts.
Help define the metrics that matter for the squad and track them rigorously.
Be the single point of contact for money and compliance: legal, finance, ops, GTM, and the other product squads.

Strong background in payments, fintech, or marketplace money flows, or in legal, regulatory, or compliance.
Think in concepts and data models, not user flows or nice-looking UI.
Map how the domain is structured (payment intents, invoicing items, connected accounts...) and how the pieces relate.
Hands on and autonomous.
Treat money and compliance as product problems and hold your own in a room with legal, finance, and business stakeholders.
Translate a business or regulatory problem into a technical one, and back again, in writing and out loud, so engineers and stakeholders actually understand each other.
