Handle all questions and matters related to steel hydraulic structures for refurbishment, maintenance and new-build projects
Independently lead projects through all phases of project execution – from planning to commissioning
Structural design and dimensioning of steel hydraulic structures (existing or new)
Review calculations and designs provided by suppliers
Assess existing installations for remaining load-bearing capacity and seismic safety
Prepare specifications, construction contracts and tender documents, and coordinate with clients and suppliers
Ensure compliance with cost, schedule and quality requirements
Collaborate with internal and external partners such as authorities, advisory groups and industry associations

Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (ETH / FH / TU or equivalent)
Several years of experience in steel hydraulic structures (industry or engineering consultancy)
Proven skills in the design and engineering of steel hydraulic structures (armored pressure systems, weir/dam structures, water intakes, etc.)
Experience in corrosion protection and, ideally, welding technology and concrete/heavy construction
Several years of experience in project leadership is an advantage
Knowledge of procurement/tendering and contract management is an advantage
