Technical and disciplinary responsibility for a client project, e.g., taking over an existing GIS project in the public sector or introducing React at a large manufacturing company
Develop and implement a viable architecture, refactoring, or migration strategy in coordination with the client and the team
Technical leadership of the project team, including task prioritization and coaching on modern frontend technologies
Primary point of contact for the client — ensure transparent communication and act as the first contact for technical and organizational questions
Implement functional requirements from analysis through quality assurance and develop proofs of concept to evaluate new technologies
Ensure code quality and technical sustainability through pairing/mob programming, active contribution to agile processes (Scrum), and continuous knowledge sharing, including mentoring

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with React 19 and TypeScript (strict), ideally in large, complex web applications
Confident use of Tailwind CSS in combination with shadcn/ui (Radix UI)
Solid understanding of state management with a clear separation of server-state vs. client-state
Experience with Vite as a build tool
Strong testing experience with Vitest and Testing Library, ideally also Playwright
Confident Git workflow (feature branches, rebase)
OpenLayers and GIS knowledge are a plus but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to share knowledge, moderate technical decisions and guide developer teams
Very good German language skills (at least B2, preferably C1) and good English skills
