About this role

Designing business specifications and solution designs for data migrations
Analyzing source data with SQL and assessing data quality
Developing mapping and transformation logic between source and target systems
Translating business requirements into technical solution concepts
Prototyping and developing solutions using modern AI assistance, notably Claude Code
Creating test and validation concepts for migration data
Coordinating with business units, IT teams and external partners
Documenting migration rules, processes and solutions

Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
2–5 years of professional experience, ideally in data or migration projects
Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data analysis
Experience in the insurance sector is a strong plus
Analytical thinking and enjoyment in translating business requirements into technical solutions
High affinity for modern AI tools and AI-assisted development
Independent, structured and self-directed working style
Fluent German and good English skills
Residence in the Ruhr area
