Evolve platform components in both cloud environments and on-premises contexts related to our Defense activities
Improve the tools available to data scientists (internal Safran.AI teams and external client teams) to accelerate model development, retraining, packaging, and production deployment
Strengthen the operational robustness of production models: serving, monitoring, multi-GPU management, profiling, and benchmarking
Support the deployment of our solutions at client sites, including in constrained environments
Conduct technology watch and propose pragmatic improvements to our stack, development practices, and technical culture
Share best practices with the team through pair programming, mentoring, and lessons learned.

At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, or an equivalent position such as Machine Learning Engineer, including at least 2 years working on production AI challenges. Consulting experience is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Python and software development best practices
Good understanding of databases, containerization, and deployment environments
Experience with deployment, monitoring, observability, or production model operations
Project management skills are valued: ability to frame requirements, prioritize technical topics, and drive their implementation through to production
