Surveying, repair, set-up, service, and providing technical support in the field to Customers, Engineers, and Installers for all Grant products.
Attend site to carry out repair work on products covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Carry out site surveys and commissioning of Grant Engineering products.
Deal with administration and correspondence on a daily basis.
Assist in diary management providing local/logistical information.
Identify potential sales leads and encourage in-house training programs when necessary.
Keep up to date with current legislation regarding Oil Fired Boilers, Air source heat pumps, Biomass, Smart controls, Solar thermal & unvented hot water and ensure professional qualifications are current.
Requirements
Experienced and dedicated Field Service Engineer
Qualifications in OFTEC, F Gas, Unvented hot water and Part P (highly advantageous)
Ability to advise customers, installers, and commissioning engineers on product installation
Technical knowledge to deal with technical issues
Responsible for health and safety guidelines
Identify Technical / Service trends and report concerns to FSM
Ability to promote Customer Satisfaction throughout the department/Company
