About this role
Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, part of Danaher, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to enhance customer satisfaction in life sciences and diagnostics. The role involves servicing equipment, cultivating customer relationships, and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
Responsibilities:
- Service Beckman Coulter products at the customer facility
- Cultivate customer relationships and support commercial initiatives
- Drive a sense of urgency to ensure the customer needs are addressed promptly with an emphasis on a 'first time fix' through the problem-solving process
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science or equivalent military experience
- 1+ year experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting challenges with instrumentation using a variety of methods
- Overnight travel 10% - 50%
- Ability to commute onsite to customer facilities within assigned territory
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to occasionally lift, lower and move up to 50 lbs. (tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.)
- Laboratory or field service roles
- Working in a regulated laboratory environment
