Solutions Architect

Role Overview

• Define architectural standards for applications, integrations, APIs, data and infrastructure.
• Lead the technological evolution of corporate systems, promoting modernization strategies and reducing legacy dependencies.
• Define and disseminate development, security, observability, monitoring and operations standards.
• Serve as a technical reference for Tech Leads, Coordinators and development teams.
• Support the definition and evolution of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Conduct technical analyses of critical incidents, identifying architectural improvement opportunities and risk mitigation measures.
• Develop high availability, disaster recovery, scalability and operational continuity strategies.
• Define and govern cloud computing standards for Azure and AWS environments.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, system flows and Architectural Decision Records (ADRs).
• Conduct technical evaluations of new technologies, frameworks and tools.
• Support the creation of technology roadmaps aligned with corporate strategies.
• Define standards for integration between internal systems, third‑party platforms and cloud services.
• Establish architecture metrics, system health indicators, technical quality and technical debt measures.
• Actively participate in discovery, refinement and solution definition processes for strategic initiatives.
• Promote best practices in software engineering, DevOps, SRE and operational reliability.
• Define CI/CD, deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards.
• Support the implementation of secure, traceable and scalable pipelines.
• Define observability, monitoring, logging and alerting strategies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to ensure development team autonomy.
• Define modernization strategies for VB6 applications, .NET Framework and monolithic systems.
• Lead initiatives for decoupling, modularization and gradual migration of systems.
• Support prioritization of technical debt and architectural improvement initiatives.
• Assess risks and impacts of changes to critical systems.
• Create and maintain Golden Paths for application development.
• Define corporate standards for APIs, integrations, authentication, authorization and security.
• Establish guidelines for code quality, automated testing and technical governance.
• Ensure architectural consistency across different squads and products.
• Translate business needs into technically viable and sustainable solutions.
• Support Product Managers, Coordinators and stakeholders in technology decision‑making.
• Evaluate financial, operational and strategic impacts of architectural decisions.
• Ensure alignment between enterprise architecture and organizational objectives.
• Define platform health, availability, performance and operational efficiency indicators.
• Use metrics to guide architectural decisions and technology investments.
• Connect technical initiatives to business outcomes and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect, Solutions Architect or equivalent role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture.
• Experience developing with VB6, C#, .NET Framework and .NET.
• Advanced knowledge of service‑oriented architecture, REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Experience in monitoring, observability and incident management.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience in modernizing legacy systems.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and technology governance.
• Systemic and strategic thinking.
• Ability to influence technical and organizational decisions.
• Excellent communication with technical and executive audiences.

• Experience with event‑driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of application security and cloud architecture security.
