Associate Director, Clinical Research – Psychiatry

Role Overview

• Provides administrative and operational leadership for strategic clinical research infrastructure initiatives within the Department of Psychiatry.
• Supports regulatory coordination, reporting and analysis, education/training, and QA/QI activities related to the department’s clinical research infrastructure.
• Day-to-day supervision of assigned program staff, including workload prioritization, professional development and training.
• Leads development of protocols, consent workflows, data collection processes, biospecimen and biomarker workflows, and reporting structures.
• Assists investigators with logistical and operational planning related to new clinical research projects.
• Develops and monitors budgets related to program staffing, operations, infrastructure, and sustainability.
• Develops and coordinates educational programs and standard operating procedures for program participants.
• Establishes quality assurance and quality improvement processes to support protocol adherence and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years of clinical research experience
• Clinical Research and Management experience preferred.
• Certifications: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), Clinical Research Associate (CRA), Clinical Research Management (CRM), Clinical Research Professional (CRP), Registered Nurse
• Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, Registered Nurse
• Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
