Support the design, delivery, analysis, and dissemination of DMI's research and evaluation activities
Conduct quantitative analysis of research data
Contribute to writing high-quality reports and research outputs
Work with external research agencies to design and carry out surveys
Support research teams in conducting routine research activities
Design effective evaluations, providing technical input into monitoring and evaluation approaches
Build research capacity within DMI's teams
Keep abreast of latest research evidence relevant to DMI’s campaign topics

Very strong intellectual ability
Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., epidemiology, public health, health economics, social sciences, statistics, biomedical sciences)
Practical experience with statistical analysis software programmes (Stata, SPSS, R, or SAS)
Strong general IT skills including questionnaire design and database development
Ability and willingness to learn quickly and apply new methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent writing skills in English
Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
Strong organisational and time management skills
Understanding different cultural contexts, especially in sub-Saharan Africa
Language ability in French (highly desirable)
