Supports the Strategic HR Partner as the disability and accommodation Center of Excellence subject matter expert across the enterprise.
Responsible for driving HR excellence across respective service lines in all areas related to disability programs and accommodation management.
Analyze data and provide summary of observations related to disability and accommodation management
making uses, including identifying trends and/or gaps in the data.
Maintains reasonable communication with employees with accommodation needs to facilitate smooth and timely return to work; relays communication between employees and their managers in instances of complex disability-related accommodation requirements or escalations.
Partners with Worker’s Compensation, Risk Management, and other departments as needed to meet organizational needs.
Receives, reviews, and provides guidance to leaders and employees on accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Research available accommodations and review the options as part of interactive process.
Drafts and/or recommends revisions to company policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Maintains complete and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests in accordance with specified legal requirements and documentation of best practices.
Assist in the identification and development of transitional return to work programs, assisting employees return to work in a safe and timely manner and providing the employee with temporary modified jobs where applicable.
Work with supervisors to adjust workplace accommodations within the scope of return-to-work programs.
Educate department heads on the value of a successful return-to-work program and recommended best practices that will improve their trends and experience.
Mentor departments and explore return-to-work opportunities by providing suggestions of potential modified jobs within their industry.

Bachelor's Degree-Related Field of Study (Required)
