Lead upstream marketing strategy for navigation technology in the shoulder reconstruction space, owning the full product development lifecycle from charter through commercial launch and continuous improvement
Define product vision, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy, supported by robust market research, customer intelligence, and competitive analysis
Develop compelling business cases including market sizing, financial modeling, and business valuations to drive investment decisions
Engage directly with surgeons and key opinion leaders to capture voice-of-customer insights that shape product requirements and development priorities
Serve as the upstream marketing lead within cross-functional teams spanning R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Sales, and Finance, ensuring alignment from development through commercialization
Communicate strategy and progress to senior leadership through clear, data-driven business storytelling and executive presentations
Apply program management discipline to maintain milestones, timelines, and deliverables across the portfolio
Support post-launch continuous improvement by incorporating field feedback and clinical data to evolve the navigation platform
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
5+ years of progressive business experience in marketing, R&D, sales, or a related function
Experience in the medical device or medical technology industry
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making and financial analysis
Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
