Build and maintain strong relationships with select channel customers, including distributors, contractors, and integrators.
Engage directly with end users, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders to promote and specify the company’s product portfolio.
Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and participate in relevant events such as trade shows, industry and association events, and customer-specific business development initiatives.
Continuously analyze and understand the competitive landscape, including products, pricing, and market positioning.
Identify opportunities, risks, and market trends impacting the product portfolio.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Track and manage project pipelines, quotes and opportunities, customer interactions and activities.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics including sales progress, pipeline health, and forecasting.
Ensure consistent follow-up and progression of opportunities from lead to close.
Requirements
University or college degree or equivalent experience
Proven skill set and passionate about in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the commercial construction or building products industry
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Strong understanding of channel sales and specification-driven markets
Experience working with or selling to architects, engineers, contractors, or building owners is an asset
