Develop and implement comprehensive regional sales strategies that align with Kärcher North America’s overarching business objectives and revenue goals
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing regional sales team
Conduct regular performance reviews, ride-alongs, and provide ongoing coaching to drive team success
Take ownership of the regional sales quota
Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline management, and budget oversight using our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
Strengthen relationships with existing dealer and distributor networks while identifying and onboarding new strategic partners to expand market penetration
Directly engage with other Target Group Directors and their National Account teams to identify top-tier accounts
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the region to identify new business opportunities and product gaps
Partner effectively with Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure seamless product rollouts, promotional campaigns, and customer satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or commercial cleaning sectors
Minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales management and leadership experience
Experience with two-tier distribution models (dealers/distributors) and direct-to-end-user sales strategies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (CRM), as well as Google suite of applications
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and profit margins
Ability to motivate and inspire a remote sales team
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region (up to 50-60%), including overnight stays and occasional travel to corporate headquarters
