Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle, including negotiation, contracting, and onboarding, ensuring alignment with internal policies and SOX compliance
Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, identify cost-saving opportunities, and deliver procurement solutions that add long-term value
Oversee and optimize the use of procurement platforms, including Tipalti and NetSuite, to improve automation, reporting, and spend visibility
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to ensure vendor contracts align with corporate policies and risk mitigation strategies
Support the development of procurement policies and procedures, ensuring scalability and best-in-class governance
Lead RFPs/RFQs and drive competitive sourcing processes in collaboration with business owners
Build strong internal partnerships with scientific and clinical teams to understand upcoming needs and proactively manage procurement pipelines
Provide category-specific market intelligence and cost benchmarking to support strategic decisions
Continuously seek opportunities to improve procurement processes, reduce costs, and mitigate supply risks
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
3–6 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 2-3 years in the Life Sciences sector
Experience working in a public company environment and familiarity with SOX compliance
Strong technical experience with procurement systems, like Tipalti, and NetSuite ERP systems
Experience in vendor risk management and working with cross-functional legal, finance, and compliance teams
