Negotiate the best commercial terms with suppliers for the procurement of raw materials.
Evaluate suppliers and alternative products with more competitive pricing;
Research new products for replacement or addition to the current portfolio according to market demand.
Responsible for analyzing import statistics by collecting information on product entries into the country;
Compare planned vs. actual results, monitor inventory turnover, and track the commercial team's actions to ensure forecast compliance;
Actively gather market intelligence for preventive actions, sharing it with the commercial team to align with strategic managers and suppliers;
Prepare and update the preliminary or landed cost of the product monthly and/or ad hoc through the operational system to keep costs current.
Complete and review cash flow when requested by Finance, updating forecasted purchase values for domestic items.
Support sample requests to suppliers when necessary and manage the receipt process to send samples to customers.
Responsible for validating forecasts, planning and procurement for the product line, as well as monitoring receiving processes to ensure stock availability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher;
Previous experience in purchasing/supply chain related to Industrial Chemistry;
