Role Overview
- Perform reconciliations and accounting entries, and monthly determine and validate the balances for the entities Confederação de Serviços Sicredi, Fundação Sicredi and Asset Management. Also prepare the financial statements for these entities, ensuring proper process governance and leading meetings with business areas to analyze and resolve any discrepancies.
- Participate in the accounting close processes between the 1st and 4th business day for Confederação de Serviços Sicredi, Fundação Sicredi and Asset Management;
- Generate accounting data to support decision-making for internal and external stakeholders;
- Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization, using data analysis to increase operational efficiency;
- Assist with audits (internal and external);
- Act as an owner and show genuine interest—take ownership of the business while maintaining strong relationships with partner areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation routines.
- Knowledge of fixed-income operations and derivatives.
- Proficient in Excel at an intermediate level or higher.
- Good communication and relationship skills with internal areas for understanding and mapping accounting processes and routines.
- Data-oriented profile, with knowledge of corporate data generation and analysis tools.
- Apply an agile mindset to promote a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Curious, proactive, and driven by challenges.
Desirable qualifications (not required). If you have one or more of these qualifications, it will be a plus in your interview:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (financial ERP).
- Knowledge of credit cooperatives.
- MBA, Master's degree, or postgraduate qualification preferably in controllership or accounting.
