About this role
Role Overview
- Lead technical audits, file quality reviews and case assessments across liability claims handling activity
- Identify technical trends, governance risks, and development opportunities to support continuous improvement and operational performance
- Deliver clear coaching, technical guidance, and performance feedback to claims colleagues and leadership teams
- Support the design and delivery of technical training, best practice frameworks, and guidance materials across the business
- Act as a senior technical referral point on complex, litigated, and high-value liability claims matters
Requirements
- Significant liability claims handling experience with strong technical expertise across EL, PL, Products Liability, and property-related claims
- Experience completing technical audits and quality reviews within a claims environment
- Strong analytical capability, decision-making skills, and the ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching skills, with experience delivering technical feedback and guidance
- Proven ability to influence technical standards, support capability development, and drive quality improvement initiatives
- Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, and customer outcome requirements relevant to liability claims handling
