Role Overview
- support Medicare Market & Provider Finance focusing on hospital unit cost financial impacts
- develop and maintain analyses that assess hospital contract performance
- support unit cost assumption development
- quantify the financial impact of provider and network strategies
- partner with Network, Provider, Finance, and other stakeholders to deliver actionable insights
- perform actual-to-expected analyses to assess unit cost assumptions
- apply actuarial methods and business judgment to support scenario modeling
- maintain analyses using Excel, SQL Server, and Databricks
- develop reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready exhibits
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- MAAA
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
- SQL or Python experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
