About this role

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for complex global categories
Ensure supply to support revenue growth for critical products
Lead cross-functional teams to implement innovative processes
Collaborate closely with the Head of Global Category in critical negotiations
Analyze internal demand
Contribute expertise and new ideas to cross-category projects and lead them to successful completion

Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration, pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field, with relevant work experience
Long-term experience in global supply management within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in global category management
Several years’ experience working under GxP combined with knowledge of category strategies and stakeholder management
Specific market intelligence and sourcing experience in APIs/chemicals, chemical intermediates and/or CDMO required
Strong knowledge of demand management, market and supplier analysis, due diligence, risk management, contract and supplier management
Open-minded, motivated, persuasive, and persistent personality with outstanding internal and external relationship management skills and a willingness to take on responsibility
Fluent in English; German is a plus
