Develop, implement, and optimise collections and recoveries strategies for lending and/or credit card portfolios
Monitor delinquency, recovery rates, and portfolio performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Design customer segmentation and collections strategies based on risk profiles and portfolio analytics
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes
Lead, mentor, and develop the Collections & Recoveries team
Collaborate with Credit Risk, Compliance, Legal, Customer Service, and other key stakeholders
Manage relationships with external collections agencies and service providers
Present portfolio performance, KPIs, and strategic recommendations to senior management
Analyse portfolio data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Develop performance reporting and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Stay informed of market developments and emerging collections technologies

Minimum 5 years of experience in Collections, Recoveries, or Credit Risk within Financial Services
Strong experience with unsecured lending, loans, or credit card portfolios
Previous leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
Strong understanding of collections strategies, portfolio management, and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical, commercial, and stakeholder management skills
Experience using data and analytics to improve collections performance
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
A Master's degree or relevant professional certification will be considered an advantage
Fluent English is essential
German language skills will be considered an advantage
