About this role
Role Overview
Drive membership growth by building strong community relationships
Develop strategic partnerships and generate qualified leads
Convert prospective girls and volunteers into active Girl Scout members
Develop local networks and identify opportunities for growth
Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless path into Girl Scouts
Execute territory-based growth strategies using demographic data and market trends
Build and maintain relationships with schools, municipalities, libraries, businesses, and cultural organizations
Represent Girl Scouts at community meetings and recruitment events
Generate and manage prospective leads ensuring effective conversion
Execute local recruitment initiatives aligned with strategic plans
Analyze data to monitor lead activity and evaluate effectiveness
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
Experience in sales, business development, recruitment, partnership development, community outreach or account management preferred
Knowledge of Girl Scout policies and procedures preferred
Proficiency in a second language is preferred (Spanish and/or Korean are highly valued)
Demonstrated success building relationships with diverse communities and community partners
Strong organizational, written, verbal and active listening skills
Exceptional relationship-building, networking and presentation skills with the confidence to engage audiences of varying sizes
Ability to identify market opportunities, analyze data and translate insights into effective growth strategies
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and effectively utilize Salesforce for lead management and reporting
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
Membership in GSUSA is required upon employment and annually thereafter
Ability to work primarily within the assigned territory with limited office time
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and automobile insurance
