Role Overview
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real-world automotive mechanical experience
- Assess the necessity, scope, and accuracy of recommended repairs based on industry standards and hands-on experience
- Ensure repair and maintenance work is performed appropriately and priced fairly
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through technical review and, when appropriate, negotiate repairs; document all savings realized
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and consistently followed
- Maintain individual performance metrics at or above established goals
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real-world mechanical experience
- Contribute positively to team morale and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions
- Adapt to operational changes while remaining calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure
- Maintain a professional image, strong work ethic, and accountability in a fully remote environment.
Requirements
- Bilingual
- English/French
- Valid mechanic’s license 310S or 310T
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive or truck repair
- 5+ year’s relevant experience in a contact center setting (Asset)
- Post-Secondary Education (i.e. College diploma, Certificate, or Apprenticeship) (Asset)
- Proficient in MS Office Programs specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Asset)
- ASE certification or willing to obtain within established timeline set by ARI.
