Role Overview
- Open new claims on the phone with clients and ensure immediate handling of the situation
- Gather versions of events from the insured and/or witnesses by interviewing them
- Determine if the claim is covered by analyzing the coverage required
- Analyze the information obtained, make decisions to establish liability and review damages assessment
- Settle claims in a fair manner, validate damages and complete payments
Requirements
- Bilingual (French & English) is mandatory
- Completion of CIP C11 course and/or Adjuster license
- Previous insurance experience
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Self-motivated and goal oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
