About this role
Role Overview
Streamlining permit processing, ensuring timely and efficient completion across multiple states
Involved in exciting projects related to energy modeling and reporting
Managing crucial tracking logs and generating monthly reports for the Department of Permitting Services (DPS)
Problem-solving and driving success by identifying and overcoming obstacles
Maintaining clear communication with management
Leveraging expertise in data management through Excel and SharePoint
Completing 15 permits daily ensuring that daily permits meet the 3 Day TAT (Turn Around Time)
Assisting with processing permits in at least 4 states
Responsible for the Monthly DPS (Department of Permitting Services) Report
Responsible for the tracking of DPS/Stamped Reports and updating the Tracking Log
Communicating any auditing areas to Management and providing options for resolution
Developing workarounds to overcome obstacles in the critical path
Integrating, reviewing, and validating critical relationships with primary parties
Receiving and understanding client constraints
Managing and controlling all data through Excel and Share-Point
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Sustainability, Engineering or related field is preferred
Must have prior experience in data entry, data analysis, or similar projects in a school or professional setting
Familiarity with the permitting process and HERC Modeling is not required but is a PLUS
Experience with energy modeling software (such as Ekotrope, REMrate, Google Sketchup) is not required but is a PLUS
Must be proficient in Sketch-Up Basics
Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills
Excellent reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, data entry management, and time management skills
Must have strong software skills with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word.
