About this role

Supports Corporate Procurement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and standardize processes
Identifies, investigates, and resolves process issues with supply chain, operations, finance and commercial personnel
Provides training, support, and leadership for cross-functional problem-solving activities
Analyzes spending patterns and costs related to total cost of ownership for goods and services
Provides recommendations on category sourcing strategies
Analyzes procurement processes for gaps and inefficiencies and suggests improvements
Measures and tracks key performance indicators (KPI’s) for procurement
Supports sustainable procurement initiatives and Supply Chain Diversity best practices

Bachelor’s degree in related field and 3+ years of experience
Ability to travel domestically to manufacturing plants on relatively short notice
Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint and Word)
Must be creative with strong analytical skills with Excel (i.e. creating advanced formulas and pivot tables)
Must be process-oriented with the ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
Must have strong organizational skills including prioritizing, time management, and meeting deadlines
Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Qualifications: MBA or MS in applicable field; Proficient with SmartSheets, MS PowerBI; Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control
