Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney

Role Overview

• Draft pleadings and briefs
• Prepare and respond to written discovery
• Draft correspondence to colleagues and clients
• Analyze insurance policies, draft coverage opinions, and provide client recommendations
• Conduct legal research via Westlaw/Lexis
• Review documents in preparation for litigation
• Attend and conduct depositions, hearings, and mediations as required
• Submit court filings

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in Arizona (additional admissions a plus)
• Discovery and law-and-motion experience
• State and federal court experience
• Excellent academic credentials and work history
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle highly sensitive and time-sensitive matters, often simultaneously
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
