Account Executive, Strategic

Role Overview

• responsible for overall account strategy, renewal outcomes, and executive relationships for large, complex employer pharmacy benefit manager clients
• lead renewal strategy, guide financial decisions, and serve as trusted partner to client and consultant stakeholders
• own the multi-year account strategy for assigned clients
• develop and present clear recommendations on pricing, guarantees, and solution design
• maintain working knowledge of account economics, including drug trend, pricing, rebates, and guarantees
• interpret financial analyses and explain results clearly to client and internal leaders
• manage relationships with consultants influencing assigned accounts
• provide clear direction to internal partners, including Account Executives and functional teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of healthcare or managed care experience
• exposure to large employer accounts
• led complex renewals and pricing discussions
• comfortable translating financial information into clear recommendations
• engaging confidently with senior client and consultant stakeholders
• exercises sound judgment under pressure and ambiguity
• understanding economic and operational realities of pharmacy benefit management delivery
• strong digital and AI fluency
