About this role
Role Overview
- Assists providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas
- Assists with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes
- Performs visit chart preparation activities based on the daily scheduled appointments
- Conducts and documents hearing, vision, respiratory and ECG testing
- Obtains, documents and processes specimens using the appropriate collection process
Requirements
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Graduate from an accredited MA Program or an MA Training Program with externship
- 1
- 3 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant
- BLS authorization upon 90 days of employment
- CMA, RMA or CCMA preferred
